Can We Do It All?

Can we do it all?

Sometimes, as bloggers, we try. I’m guilty of this. I’m a corporate worker, freelancer, partner, son, and many other things. I added blogger to the list a year ago. If I’m being honest, it’s not always easy to juggle. I talk about this my last entry.

When I think about everything I have to do each day, I wonder how I can blog without fail. Sometimes I do fail. That doesn’t make me a failure. It makes me human. It does the same for any other blogger trying to do it all.

Why We Try to Do It All
  1. We made commitments
  2. We love what we do
  3. Not wanting to look like we failed
  4. Fear of success
  5. Because we think it’s expected of us

So, can we do it all? The short answer is, yes! I do it all every day! When I start my day, my mind is on what I will accomplish for the day. That includes this blog! As a result, I am successful in my days. It’s because of that success that I continue to be inspired. In other words, I set myself up to be successful and have it all.

In addition to everything above, I surround myself with supportive people. This is key if you want to have it all. Support and love are paramount. Love for yourself, and the support of others.

In conclusion, we can do it all. Be the blogger, wife or mother, son/daughter, partner etc that you can be. There’s a delicate balance to maintain. Once you find that balance, it’s easy to keep. At the end of the day, it’s all about your success and showing other bloggers and jammie workers that they can have it all. To your success! Until next week’s wrap up for March!

Why Do I Blog?

Why do I Blog?

That’s a great question! The answer isn’t simple but I just love to blog! I know it’s been a couple of weeks since my last entry. Family things got in the way and my partner and I had an extra houseguest.

So, why do I blog? I blog because I have something to say. I decided on the work from home niche because it’s what I eventually want to do. It’s going to take time for me to get there. I have taken classes online for both writing and virtual assisting. Both classes were very good and I learned SO much! The reality is that I like writing more than virtual assisting, in most cases. For some reason, writing speaks to me more. That’s probably another reason I started this blog.

When I log in each week, I see an opportunity.

What kind of opportunity?

  1. To educate
  2. To have fun
  3. Share wisdom
  4. To show that anyone can do this

Over the last few months, I’ve seen a great shift in my thinking. I want to be successful. I want others to be successful too. When I started this blog, I wasn’t sure where it would go. I’m happy to say that I am now confident in its direction. I find myself happy to write and not suffering the dreaded “writer’s block” as much as I used to.

In the end, I simply want my readers to understand who I am and why I’m here. Sometimes, things get in the way. It has happened before. Take this as a lesson. When life tosses you a curveball, use it and learn with it. I aspire to be in all things, your go-to for the wonderful information on how to work in your jammies. This is why I blog!

How I Create Content for My Blog

This week, I want to talk about how I create content for my blog!

I am going to leave an affiliate link to my Siteground hosting company. I may get a commission (payment) if someone uses that link.

Creating content isn’t easy. It takes thought, determination and sometimes a bit of genius. Not saying that I’m a genius, in fact, far from it. When I create my content, I try to think about my readers. My readers are the most important. That being said, I also think about subjects that interest me. I have a passion for working in my pajamas. That’s why I created this blog.

How I Create Content for My Blog

  1. Brainstorm ideas on the train
  2. Just write and see what happens
  3. Get help from other bloggers

These are just a few ways to get the content out. There are many other ways that I create content. Some escape me right now. The point is, how I create content varies. Sometimes I take from daily life. If something strikes me as a good subject, I will use it. Very often, I find my ideas come to me during my corporate workday.

Top Ways to Create Content for Your Blog

  1. Daily Life
  2. Personal Interests
  3. Fun stories
  4. Anecdotes
  5. Time with friends and family

These are just some ways to create content for your blog. Just make sure it’s relevant to your blog niche and provides valuable and practical information. I always strive to create fun and engaging content for my readers.

If you’re looking to create your own blog, I suggest SiteGround hosting. Their customer support is amazing and I find them to be wonderful to work with. Here is my affiliate link if you’re interested.
